Shipping of Perishable Items

Perishable items include:

• Fruit Baskets
• Fresh Flowers

Shipping on these items requires 2 Day delivery or less. If you select a longer shipping period your order will be adjusted and your credit card will be charged the difference in shipping costs before we ship the item out to you.

During Summer months.. shipping of Cheescakes is limited to overnight only.

Summer Shipping of Chocolate

If you select a longer shipping period than listed below, your order will be adjusted and your credit card will be charged the difference in shipping costs before we ship the item out to you.

Starting on Monday, June 9th, we will require Overnight shipping for the products listed below through the hot summer months. These are all products that contain either all or a large percentage of chocolate products.

The following items in our line contain chocolate and require special provisions to ship safely during the warm Summer months (now thru September 31st).

We will provide cold packs at no additional cost to you but it is your responsibility to be sure the product does not spend more than 1 or 2 days in transit based on the destination and ship method chosen.  Please consider the following:

If the ship-to destination is in a northern part of the country, 2 days in transit may be acceptable.  If the product is shipping south, 1 day in transit may be required.  You do not necessarily need to use Air Shipping, it's time-in-transit that matters.  The map below shows days-in-transit (business days) for Ground shipping from our New York warehouse. Use the map to determine whether Ground or Air shipping can be used.  Please avoid shipping over a weekend.

Be aware that even with cold packs, we can not guarantee safe delivery of chocolates in the hottest weather and will not honor claims involving melted chocolates, so please use your discretion when placing such orders.
